Druids & Dragons Con is a gaming convention set at a campsite in Larimer County. We get a bunch of adjoining campsites to run games of Dungeons & Dragons in tents and RVs. This encourages some cross pollination of people who enjoy camping but don't play many D&D games with people who really love playing D&D but don't camp as much. One trend we noticed last year was that there was also some appeal among people who used the event to double as a family vacation where they only played some D&D and spent the rest of the time cooking marshmallows, going for walks, and just generally spending time outside. This would be our third year running the event that we keep growing to account for all the positive feedback we have received.
What we would need for this to be a successful third year is to rent a number of campsites in Eagle Campground of Carter Lake. Based on demand, we want a slightly different configuration of campsites than previous years since it is so much more popular on some days than others. We would like the following campsites on the following days
* E15-18: Thursday afternoon through Monday morning
* E13-14 & E19-20: Thursday afternoon through Sunday morning
* E11-12 & E20-E22: Friday afternoon through Sunday morning
* E6-E10: Saturday afternoon through Sunday morning
F. We have purchased insurance and attached the relevant forms.
G. We agree to pay the relevant fees which we estimate to be around $25 for the application and $1,173.75 for campsite reservations
I. We did not have any medical problems or sanitation related problems last year after moving to Carter Lake which has better bathroom facilities.
N. A web link has been created.
P. James Endicott is the contact person for the event.
Q. Most of the campsites requested have reliable cellular phone and internet service based on our experience during the last event. We do not expect that to get worse.
S. We consent to allow a photographer to take pictures for use by Larimer County.
